LEADERSHIP SEMINARS

Leadership Seminars are one of the most well-attended events that BEAT offers. Hosted biennially in alternating years with the Forums, they comprise a day-long event that is tailored to architecture students and recent graduates, providing access to leading architects in the field. Leadership seminars present the voices and stories of five panelist from different perspectives, including practice and academia with the goal of showcasing diverse modes of practice. Panelists commence with a short presentation of their work, followed by a panel discussion, a complementary lunch for all attendees, and culminate in project tours led by the panelists. The format and resulting panel discussion has offered an opportunity for panelists to share information about topics that are less commonly discussed, and in the past, have been extremely well received with long waiting lists for attendance.
