BEAT is thrilled for the next edition in our Dinner Series!!

BEAT believes that every conversation counts and works to create inviting contexts that foster open dialogue. Each BEAT Dinner is hosted at a remarkable Toronto restaurant. A highlight of this event is that a different VIP guest of honour will be invited to each dinner.

We are honoured that the featured guest of the upcoming BEAT Dinner will be Alison Brooks.

BEAT is a volunteer-run organization made up of architects, designers, leaders, and entrepreneurs creating opportunities for community-building, advocacy, networking, and mentorship.

The ticket price is all inclusive. It includes wine, gratuity, and tax as well as any additional Eventbrite fees.

About Alison Brooks:

Alison Brooks, Founder and Creative Director of Alison Brooks Architects, is one of the UK’s most highly awarded and internationally acclaimed architects. A native of Ontario, she moved to London in 1988 and established her practice in 1996. Her diverse portfolio of built works reflects a commitment to generous, inclusive city-building and a uniquely sculptural design language inspired by the cultures and communities her projects serve.

Amongst over 100 awards for design quality her firm was awarded 2020 Dezeen Architect of the Year, BD Housing Architect of the Year, 2021 Civic Trust Award and RIBA House of the Year. Her numerous teaching positions include the Architectural Association, Harvard GSD, ETSAM and Cornell AAP. She has recently been elected member of the AA Council and the British School at Rome.
