Passionate about her professional and personal communities, Alena is committed to fostering a more equitable and sustainable world through volunteer efforts and advocacy.

She joined BEAT in 2021 after entering the architecture and design space and recognizing the need for greater representation in leadership, project visioning, and the way spaces are designed to reflect the full spectrum of human experiences. Alena believes architecture has the power to shape communities, and that equitable representation leads to more inclusive and impactful design outcomes.
